Big Brother Alum Wants to Be Governor of Nuevo León

Pato Zambrano Recalls Therapy Sessions After Leaving Show

“Everyone in Big Brother Took Therapy After Program,” Zambrano Says

Pato Zambrano, a former contestant on the reality show Big Brother, has announced his intention to run for governor of the Mexican state of Nuevo León. Speaking about his time on the show, Zambrano emphasized the importance of mental health and the challenges contestants faced upon leaving the program.

“Everyone in Big Brother took therapy after leaving the program,” Zambrano said. “It's a very intense experience that can take a toll on your mental health.”

Zambrano, who participated in the show in 2021, described the experience as being isolated from the outside world and constantly monitored by cameras. “It's like being in a pressure cooker,” he said. “You're constantly being watched and judged by the public.”

Zambrano said that he sought therapy after leaving the show to help him process his experiences and adjust to life outside the Big Brother house. “Therapy helped me to understand the challenges I faced on the show and to develop coping mechanisms,” he said.

Zambrano's announcement that he wants to be governor of Nuevo León has been met with mixed reactions. Some people have questioned whether he has the experience necessary for the job, while others have praised his willingness to speak out about mental health.

Zambrano has not yet released a detailed policy platform, but he has said that he wants to focus on improving mental health services in Nuevo León. He has also said that he wants to make the state more inclusive and equitable.
